The Victory Over Violence Conference addresses the safety and well-being of the whole child in the school and community by addressing social and emotional development issues and family engagement. Workshops are applicable for FRYSCs as well as all other youth and family-focused professionals.

To have the KY state sales tax removed, for either hotel, a KY state sales tax exemption certificate must be provided, and the room must be paid through direct bill, a district credit card, or a district check. Personal cards or cash that is to be used for reimbursement cannot be used with the KY state sales tax exemption. Your finance department should be able to provide you with a copy of their KY state sales tax exemption certificate if you plan to use one. Consult your school district’s finance department to determine the best payment option for you.

Professional Development Credit

Coordinators must earn at least 6 hours of credit to fulfill the state conference PD requirement. To receive credit, do all three of the following:

· Badge scanned / checked in for each session

· Sign the attendance sheet for each session

· Complete the post-conference overall evaluation

Following the conference, you will receive an email with a link to complete an online post-conference overall evaluation. Upon completion of the post-conference overall evaluation, once it is ready, participants will have their certificate emailed to them.
